Maintenance Agreement          Call 888-666-7631


The Monroe Maintenance Agreement provides for replacement or repair service for the covered calculator as if the calculator were still covered by the original Limited Warranty (non-Programmable – Programmable). The opportunity to purchase a Maintenance Agreement is available at any time prior to the expiration of the original warranty or extension thereof. In the event the original warranty or extension thereof has expired, a calculator may be placed under a Maintenance Agreement only after the unit has undergone repair in Monroe’s FactoryServiceCenter. The Flat Rate Repair charge would apply to the repair, then at that time the Annual Maintenance Agreement can be purchased. In the event a failure occurs during the Agreement period, simply call Monroe at 888-666-7631 for service.
 
            Two options are available depending upon the age of the covered model. 
 
Replacement Option: If the failed unit is one which Monroe still markets, Monroe will send a replacement unit when requested. Upon receipt of the replacement unit, the customer will pack the failed unit in the replacement unit box, affix the included Pre-paid return label and return the failed unit to Monroe. In the event the failed unit is not returned to Monroe, Monroe will invoice the customer for the replacement unit. This option pertains to non-programmable calculators only.
 
Repair Option: If the failed unit belongs to a series no longer marketed by Monroe, Monroe will repair the failed unit as if the unit were under the original warranty. The Monroe Customer Service Representative will arrange for a box, packing material and Pre-paid return label to be sent to the customer. Upon receipt of the packing material the customer will pack, box, affix the label and return the failed unit to Monroe.
 
Note: Maintenance Agreements do not limit the number of repairs or general cleanings for the effective period. The Factory Service Center attempts to return the repaired unit in as close to “like new” condition as possible. The average turn around time in the Factory Service Center is 24 hours.
